Community Partnerships

Join Kind Dine as an official Community Partner

Kind Dine partners with community based groups to provide free food items to their members in need. We invite nonprofits, churches, government programs, schools, and other groups connected to people facing hardship, to become Kind Dine Community Partners. If your group serves individuals who could benefit from free food from restaurants, we’d love to work with you!

Who can become a Kind Dine Community Partner?

  • Non-profits, churches, government programs, schools, and other organizations that support people in need and reflect our organization’s values
  • Groups that have direct contact with populations who could benefit from free food through our platform
  • Participant eligibility: Community Partners’ participants must be at least 16 years old and meet at least one of the following criteria:
    • Household income at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI) for their area, based on household size
    • Receives public assistance such as SNAP, TANF, SSI, unemployment insurance, Summer EBT, Medicaid, or similar public benefits
    • Currently without a safe, stable place to live (e.g., staying in a shelter, in places not meant for living, or temporarily with others after housing loss or financial hardship)
    • Age 62 or older
    • Experiencing difficulty meeting everyday necessities (housing, food, clothing, or utilities) due to a temporary crisis or unexpected event
    • Living with a disability that affects one or more major life activities
  • If you could benefit from Kind Dine but are not part of one of our Community Partners, please encourage the organizations you are part of to reach out to us so they can become a Community Partner and grant their participants access to Kind Dine
  • We are currently only servicing the DMV Area, but we’re happy to speak to groups interested in us expanding to their cities
  • While we welcome all organizations to express interest, we reserve the right to review and determine best fits for partnership on a case‑by‑case basis

What is the investment to participate?

Kind Dine Community Partner membership starts at a small monthly fee for their participants to have access to the free food on our platform during our soft launch stage. This fee is designed to make this program accessible while helping us sustain and improve the service. As a Kind Dine Community Partner, your organization’s participants will be able to access the food donated on our platform and redeem up to one item or bundle per day. This benefit is intended to supplement the food support they already receive, helping fill gaps and provide an additional layer of support when needed.

Because Kind Dine is a new organization, these are our starting fees and may change as we grow, learn from our partners, and refine the program. We are committed to keeping membership affordable and valuable for the organizations we serve.

We’ve made it simple to become a Community Partner!

Step 1 – Express Interest
Submit this brief online form to tell us about your organization and the participants you support. We’ll review your submission and have a quick call to understand your needs and answer any questions.

Step 2 – Choose a Tier
Begin the monthly membership tier that fits your size and budget, starting from $25/month for up to 20 participants during our soft launch stage. Each tier grants participants access to up to one free donated item or bundle per day.

Step 3 – Provide Information
We’ll only need each participant’s first name, last initial, and email address to create their accounts. To help us improve services and report on impact, we ask for a high‑level demographic snapshot of your entire group. This information is aggregated so no single person’s demographics are captured or stored.
